The GFA Seeks Volunteers
This is from the latest edition of the GFA email newsletter. You sign up for the newsletter at the Guitar Foundation Website. This is a huge project, and any help they can get would probably be very appreciated.
We frequently have people asking how they can help out – we now have a good answer! We are looking to add a new area to our website, and can use your help. In the spring, we will launch a new area on the site, featuring a database of schools (pre-college and college) with guitar programs. We’d like to launch the site with a relatively good list of schools already included, and then continue to accept submissions after launch from schools that may have been missed in our initial listing. We are seeking volunteers who would be interested in covering a state or a region as thoroughly as possible. We already have volunteers working on listings for California, Connecticut, and Tennessee. If you’re interested in helping, please contact Executive Director Martha Masters for further information. We appreciate your service!
