		<description>In the case of Sor, he wrote some lovely studies, which are presentable in concert. Fantasia opus 7 is a Sor piece I recommend, but you did infer not too large a work, it may be over long this time! But one to consider for the future. I heard Bream play it same programme as Bach it stood up well, I thought. 

Regarding Ponce, I prefer Sonata Romantica (homage to Schubert) to Meridional. Take a look sometime and see what you think.

Have you heard Maneul Barrueco&#039;s arrangement of Estrellita by Ponce?  The first time I heard it, it was played by Martha Masters as an encore at one of her recitals. I&#039;ve played it for years and it&#039;s one of my all-time favorites; I never get sick of it.  I know you were looking for a Sor or Giuliani, but maybe another piece by Ponce wouldn&#039;t be so bad for your recital.</description>
